Welcome to Beaver Blox, a visual programming platform developed by Schoolasium for learning Arduino and IOT development. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Beaver Blox platform and all related services.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Beaver Blox ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using Beaver Blox on behalf of a school or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these terms.
If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use Beaver Blox.
3. Description of Service
Beaver Blox is a visual programming platform that enables users to learn Arduino and IOT development through a drag-and-drop block editor. The Service includes the web-based editor, simulator, project sharing, community features, and educational content.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.
4. Account Registration
To use certain features of Beaver Blox, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration with Beaver Blox
- Maintain the security of your Beaver Blox account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your Beaver Blox account
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your Beaver Blox account
For users under 13, a parent or guardian must create and manage the Beaver Blox account.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of any content you create using the Service, including projects, code, and designs. By sharing content publicly on the platform, you grant Beaver Blox a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your shared content within the Service.
You agree not to create or share content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, or violates the rights of others.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Upload malicious code or content
- Harass, bully, or intimidate other users

7. Subscription and Payments
Some features of Beaver Blox require a paid subscription. By subscribing to Beaver Blox, you agree to:
- Pay all fees associated with your chosen Beaver Blox plan
- Provide accurate billing information
- Accept that fees are non-refundable except as required by law
We may change Beaver Blox's pricing with 30 days notice. Free plans may have usage limitations as described on our Beaver Blox pricing page.
8. Intellectual Property
Beaver Blox, including its design, code, content, and branding, is owned by Schoolasium and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on Beaver Blox without our express written permission.
The Beaver Blox name, logo, design, and all related marks are trademarks of Schoolasium. All content and materials within Beaver Blox are protected by copyright.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Schoolasium shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of Beaver Blox.
Our total liability for any claims arising from these Beaver Blox terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your Beaver Blox account at any time for violation of these terms. You may terminate your Beaver Blox account at any time by contacting us or using the account settings within Beaver Blox.
Upon termination, your right to use Beaver Blox ceases immediately. We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes related to Beaver Blox.
11. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in San Francisco, California.
